According to this interview, Alex O'Loughlin and the Whiteout cast seem to have funny time on the set.
“I am not great on camping. I think I might prefer the extreme cold than the makeshift toilet.”

“You would die pretty quickly in the cold,” countered her co-star Alex O’Loughlin, who argued that it would probably be more pleasant to die of heat stroke, to much laughter in the room. The hunky Aussie actor, introduced to US audiences last year in the mildly-received TV series about vampires called Moonlight and who is introduced in this movie naked in his first scene, was at the receiving end of most jokes at the junket. His purported partiality toward makeshift toilets because he happens to be from Australia was one of them.
The candid atmosphere of the interview also offered handsome actor Gabriel Macht (pronounced Mac’t) the opportunity to share his funny experience on the set working with Kate and Alex. “I actually like to laugh a lot and these two are very funny human beings,” he said. “All of our scenes that we did together, I would just break laughing all the time because these guys are making jokes constantly, all the time.”
“Kate is funny because she is quick-witted and I am just funny,” added Alex.
“You are funny looking,” Kate teased Alex further.
